登壇についてAbout the Lightning Talk
Spectrum Tokyo Meetupでライトニングトーク（LT）をしていただく方へのご案内です。応募前にご一読ください。Everything you need to know before giving a lightning talk (LT) at Spectrum Tokyo Meetup. Please read this before applying.
01登壇内容Lightning Talk
- 持ち時間: 5分You have 5 minutes for your talk.
- テーマ: 各回テーマが異なります。トップページの「次回のMeetup」をご確認ください。The theme is different for each session. Please check “Next Meetup” on the home page.
- プレゼン: スクリーンでの言語補助や2ヶ国語対応は必須ではありません。Language support on the slides and bilingual presentations are not required.
- なお、KeynoteやGoogle Slidesなど、PDF以外の形式には対応しておりません。Currently, we do not support formats other than PDF, such as Keynote or Google Slides.
02スライドの提出Submitting your slides
- イベント前日23:59までにGoogle Driveにてスライド（PDF）を提出していただきます。Submit your slides in PDF format to our Google Drive by 0:00 AM on the day of the event (23:59 the day before).
03イベント当日On the day of the event
- 当日は会場に18時にお越しいただきます。他のスピーカーとの顔合わせや、簡単なご案内をいたします。Please come to the venue by 18:00 so you can say hi to the other speakers and get a quick briefing.
04その他Guidelines
- スピーカーそれぞれで英語/日本語の熟練度や流暢さのレベルは異なります。お互いにこの場で話すことを讃えあいましょう！Each speaker has a different level of English/Japanese fluency. Let’s appreciate each other’s passion without worrying about fluency!
- 持ち時間5分しかないので、自己紹介や自社製品・採用の宣伝がメインにならないようにしてください。You only have 5 minutes — please avoid spending most of it on self-introduction or promoting your company’s products or hiring.

スピーカーは参加費を払う必要がありますか？Do speakers also need to pay the participation fee?
不要です。登壇の前に飲んだり食べたりして緊張をほぐしてください。No. Before taking the stage, please have a drink and something to eat to relax and ease your nerves.
言語にあまり自信なくても登壇できますか？Can I give a talk even if I’m not very confident in my language skills?
問題ないです。日本人で英語に挑戦したい方、外国人で日本語に挑戦したい方、どちらも歓迎しています。No problem at all. We welcome both Japanese speakers who want to challenge themselves in English and international speakers who want to challenge themselves in Japanese.
デザイン熟練者ではないのですが、登壇してもいいのでしょうか？I’m not an expert in design. Can I still give a talk?
問題ないです。デザイン熟練度、職種に関わらず、皆登壇を聞いて学べることがあるので、ぜひチャレンジしてください💪No problem at all. Regardless of your level of design expertise or job position, everyone can learn something from listening to the talks — so please don’t hesitate to take on the challenge 💪
