Spectrum Tokyo MeetupとはWhat is Spectrum Tokyo Meetup?

Spectrum Tokyo Meetupは、2023年から毎月開催している定例イベントで、すでに25回以上の実施を通じて延べ1000人以上が参加するコミュニティの核となる取り組みです。40人前後の規模で「対話と交流」に重きを置いたライトニングトーク形式を採用し、ミドル〜シニアレベルのデザイン実践者が中心となって、業界・職種・レベルを問わず多様な参加者が集まる場を実現しています。Spectrum Tokyo Meetup is a monthly event we’ve been running since 2023 — and the heart of our community. Across more than 25 editions, over 1,000 people have joined us. Each meetup is kept to around 40 people and built around lightning talks that put conversation and connection first. Mid- to senior-level design practitioners form the core, alongside a diverse crowd from every industry, role and level of experience.

このイベントの最大の特徴は、従来の座学型LTイベントとは一線を画す「交流ファースト」の設計です。立食形式での乾杯から始まり、2-3人ずつのセッションブロックに分けたプログラム構成、合間に設けられた交流時間とシャッフル促進により、一人参加でも自然に交流できる環境を創出しています。What sets it apart from a typical sit-and-listen LT night is its “connection-first” design. We kick off with a standing toast, split the talks into blocks of 2–3 speakers, and fill the breaks in between with mingling time and gentle reshuffling — so even if you come alone, it’s easy to start a conversation.

また、日本語と英語のトークを混在させることで、日本在住の外国人や海外参加者にもインクルーシブな場を提供し、真の意味でのグローバルなデザインコミュニティを形成しています。Talks are given in a mix of Japanese and English, making the event welcoming for international residents of Japan and visitors from abroad — a truly global design community.

お仕事やサイドプロジェクトで取り組んでいるデザインをシェアしてください。グラフィックやUIだけでなく、すべてのクリエイティブな営み、日々の工夫や試行も「デザイン」です。Share the design work you’re tackling — for your job or a side project. Design isn’t just graphics or UI: every creative endeavor, daily innovation and experiment counts.

お酒の提供があるため、ご参加は20歳以上の方に限ります。Alcohol will be served, so attendees must be 20 or older.

Call for Speakers

スピーカーとして参加するJoin as a speaker

Meetupでは毎回、テーマに沿って5分間のライトニングトークをしていただくスピーカーを常時募集しています。デザイン熟練度や職種、言語の得意・不得意は問いません。話せそうなテーマがあれば、ぜひフォームからご応募ください！We’re always looking for speakers to give a 5-minute lightning talk on each meetup’s theme. Your level of design experience, your role and your language fluency don’t matter. If you have something to share, apply through the form!

応募者多数の場合は、登壇者の属性・所属・職種・登壇言語・トピックなどの多様性とバランスを重視して選出します。多くの場合、応募内容自体の評価ではございませんので、あらかじめご了承ください。If we receive many applications, we select speakers with diversity and balance in mind (background, affiliation, role, talk language and topic). In most cases the decision is not an evaluation of your proposal itself — thank you for understanding.
